Chabenec

The peak Chabenec (1955 m) is a huge mountain massif with an elongated ridge situated in a granite nucleus of the Low Tatras Mountains between the mountain saddles of Ďurková and Kotliská. In the north it is connected with a long crotch that ends by Ľupčianska Magura at the village Partizánska Ľupča.
From the top you would have a beautiful 360° wide view. Close to the Chabenec peak there is a shelter called "Pod sedlom Ďurková" (Below the Saddleback Ďurková). You can get there in 35 minutes (60 minutes back) following the blue marked tourist trail.
